Abstract

Abstract Mannich type reactions of a preformed aldimine with various carbonyl compounds were investigated with a series of functionalised indoline derivatives as catalysts: indoline-3- carboxylic acid, the diphenylcarbinol analogue and O-protected silyl ether analogues.
