Abstract: The cyclotetraphosphine (CF3P) 4 reacts with (CH3) 4As2 and (CH&Sz to insert a CF3P group into the As-As or SS bond. A variety of products was formed by the action of (CFQ)(on (CH3) 2NP (CH3) 2 with the major component being the phosphinidene complex (CH3); N (CH3), P-PCF3.
