Abstract

As a continuation of our studies 9 aimed at adapting strategically important processes to solid-phase, we disclose herein the first report of the preparation of 1,4-diketones by the thiazolium salt promoted addition of aliphatic, aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes to chalcones.
