Abstract

Abstract 2-Octylsuccinic acid and its copolyanhydrides with sebacic acid have been synthesized by melt polycondensation, and were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1 H NMR, gel permeation chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, and thermal gravimetric analysis.
