Abstract

Abstract Fluorination of nitro alcohols with N, N-diethyl-1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3-hexafluoropropylamine (PPDA) was investigated. 3-Nitrobenzyl fluoride (II) was obtained from the reaction of PPDA and 3-nitrobenzyl alcohol (I)(yield 66%).
