Abstract

Certain coumarin α-methylene-γ-butyrolactones were synthesized and evaluated for antiproliferative and vasorelaxing activities. These compounds were synthesized via alkylation of hydroxycoumarins 2a–f followed by oxidation and the Reformatsky-type condensation.
