Abstract
Picrasmh-A solution of 1 g. of picrasmin in an acetylating mixture of 8 cc. of acetic anhydride and 0.25 g. of anhydrous sodium acetate was boiled for one and one-half hours. Most of the anhydride was then removed by distillation, and the resulting mass was treated with water.
