Abstract

Abstract The reaction of methanedisulfonyl fluoride (1) with an N-halogenosuccinimide leads to the hitherto unknown dihalogenomethanedisulfonyl fluorides (halogen= chlorine (2b), bromine (2c), iodine (2d)). The hitherto unknown monohalogenomethanedisulfonyl fluorides (halogen= chlorine (3b), bromine (3c), iodine (3d)) can be prepared by the treatment of potassium-(4) and silver-di (fluorosulfonyl)-methanide (5) with the chlorine, ...
