Abstract
Cyclopeptide alkaloids are natural products that have been isolated from the leaves, stem bark, root bark, and seeds of a wide variety of plant species throughout the world. They are distinguished by their structural similarity and possess a 13-(1), 14-(2), or 15-membered (3) cycle containing an aromatic ring.
