Abstract

In view of reports2i3 of the possible estrogenic activity of certain resin acid derivatives, it seemed of interest to prepare for pharmacological examination compounds related to dehydroabietic acid (I) in which the carboxyl and one or more of the alkyl groups were replaced by oxygen functions.
