Abstract

Compounds that contain a trifluoromethylthio group (–SCF3) are found in many pharmaceutical and agrochemical products, such as Tiflorex and Vaniliprole.[1] Owing to their high lipophilicity and hydrophobicity, aryl trifluoromethylthioethers (ArSCF3) have attracted increasing attention from synthetic chemists.
