Abstract

The N-disubstituted aminodichloroboranes were prepared through the reaction of addition compounds of boron trichloride with secondary amines. These addition compounds were converted into the respective aminodichloroboranes through the evolution of hydrogen chloride at elevated temperaturese or by treatment with the stoichiometric amount of a tertiary amine.'The resultant aminodichloroboranes are illustrated in Table I.
