Abstract

1-Aryl-2, 5-di (2-thienyl) pyrroles and their oligomers have been synthesized as a new π- system. UV-vis absorption spectra, X-ray crystallographic analysis, and cyclic voltammogram showed that the present π-system showed good co-planarity and high ability to donate its π- electron.
