Abstract
An iridium (I) pyrrolyl complex based on Vaska's complex was prepared, and its reactions with alkyl and acyl halide, silanes, stannanes, boranes, and H2 were studied. The Ir (III) dihydrido pyrrolyl complexes underwent reductive elimination of pyrrole in high yield, and this reaction is an unusual example of NH bond-forming reductive elimination.
