Abstract

Perfluorocycloaliphatic compounds are reduced by solutions of the sodium benzophenone radical anion to give perfluorinated and highly fluorinated aromatic compounds. Perfluorocycloalkanes containing tertiary carbon centers are much more reactive than perfluorocyclohexane.
