Abstract

Anal. Calcd. for CaH70Cl: C1, 37.5. Found: C1, 34.8. Attempts to prepare quaternary ammonium salts as solid derivatives were not successful. Even at O", S, N- dimethvlbenzylamine, dimethylaniline or pyridine and the chloro-&her ga. ve only the amine hydrochloride. a, &Dibromoethyl Methyl Ether.-A portion of the distilled condensate from the Dry Ice traps was brominated."
