Abstract

Various polydentate ligands have been used to increase the stability of the complexes by anchoring the coordination sites and chelate effect. Among these polydentate ligands, β-diketonate ligands have drawn much interest due to their unique resonance stability and they have been investigated with virtually every metal and metalloid in the periodic table.
