Previous workers' have shown that the marihuana activity of “conjugated tetrahydrocannabinol” analogs in which other alkyl groups replace the n-amyl group in the 3- position and the alicyclic double bond is conjugated with those of the benzene ring, varies markedly with the structure of the alkyl group, increasing with the number of methyl groups placed on an n-alkyl side-chain and decreasing as a methyl group is placed further from ...
