Abstract
A mixture of 33 g. of the acid chloride, 50 g. of potassium carbonate and 40 cc. of water was allowed to remain at room temperature for twelve hours, the solution evaporated to dryness, the residue made acid with hydrochloric acid, extracted with ether and the solvent removed from the extract.
