Abstract

Abstract Dibenzothiophenes and carbazoles were prepared by tetrafold Heck reactions of tetrabromothiophene and N-methyltetrabromopyrrole and subsequent 6π-electrocyclization and dehydrogenation. A number of reactions could be successfully carried out as domino reactions in only one synthetic step.
