Abstract

Many methods have been developed for phosphorylating nucleosides. The main types are condensations brought about by dialkylcarbodiimides and direct use of phosphorus oxychloride or its suitably activated derivatives, such as the phosphoroch1oridates. l The direct use of phosphorus oxychloride in trialkyl phosphate solvent has been shown to yield nucleotides in good yield. 2 A widely used method3 is that of Tene~-,~ who effected ...
