Abstract

Abstract Kinetics of two reactions: hydrolysis of esters and condensation of cyclohexanone in an alkaline environment, was studied in model mixtures. Derived kinetic equations were used to assess optimal parameters of proceeding cyclohexanone distillation in the presence of alkali.
