Abstract

• The work establishes a crucial role for the long prolactin receptor in metastatic spread of breast cancer. • The spice-modulating agent has potential as a well-tolerated cancer therapeutic. • The principle of isoform-specific knockdown can be applied to multiple targets in breast and other cancers.
