Abstract
The hydrogenation of biomass-derived 5-(hydroxymethyl) furfural (HMF) to 2, 5- dimethylfuran (DMF) is a key reaction in upgrading biomass-derived furanic compounds into platform molecules toward the production of chemicals and liquid transportation fuels.
