Abstract

Abstract A simple and highly efficient procedure has been proposed for the synthesis of heterocyclic and aromatic N-benzyl amines via reductive amination of substituted aromatic aldehydes in the presence of sodium tetrahydridoborate-acetic acid system generating reactive sodium triacetoxyhydridoborate.
