Abstract

A novel series of amide based fibrates were synthesized and evaluated for antidyslipidemic activity in triton induced hyperlipidemic rats. Interestingly, the compound 13 produced striking reduction in serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), phospholipids (PL) and triglycerides (TG).
