Abstract
Abstract The effects of phosphorus substituents on the reactivity of α-alkoxyphosphonium salts with nucleophiles has been explored. Reactions of α-alkoxyphosphonium salts, prepared from various acetals and tris (o-tolyl) phosphine, with a variety of nucleophiles proceeded efficiently.
