Abstract
Stable N-cyano-N, N, N-trialkylammonium fluoroborates have been prepared and their reactivity examined. With nucleophiles there are at least two types of reactions-the alkylation reaction observed by von Braun and the cyanation reaction observed for the first time on stable N-cyanoammonium salts.
