Abstract

Previous studies identified several novel tetrahydropyrimidine derivatives exhibiting muscarinic agonist activity in rat brain. Such compounds might be useful in treating cognitive and memory deficits associated with low acetylcholine levels, as found in Alzheimer's disease.
