Abstract

Microwave induced N-alkylation of several azoles with 2, 2′, 4′-trichloroacetophenone (TCA) under solvent-free conditions allowed to obtain the corresponding 1-(2′, 4′- dichlorophenacyl) azoles with satisfactory to good selectivities and yields.
