Abstract

Abstract A novel, efficient one-pot method has been developed to synthesize amphiphiles such as N-alkylated/N-allylated triethylamines and pyridinium salts for the first time from n- alcohols and naturally occurring terpenes (allyl alcohols) in good yields.
