Abstract
Readily available, inexpensive and easy to handle, carboxylic acids have been shown to be very effective, greener coupling partners compared to costly organometallic reagents for the formation of CÀC bonds.[1] In these transformations, carbon nucleophiles are generated after decarboxylation of the carboxylic acid and subsequently coupled with a range of electrophiles.[2] However, these procedures have long suffered from the requirement for ...
