Abstract
Results The five nucleosides studied and their pK, values are shown in Chart I, The methyl radical was generated by photolysis (X> 300 nm) of the tert-butyl peracetate in an aqueous medium in the pH range of 1-12. The yields of the methylated products were determined by high-pressure LC i" alyses, and these percent yields are plotted as a function of pH in Figures 1-5.
