Abstract

Efficient cross-coupling, allowing a straightforward access to congested benzophenones, between aromatic aldehydes and potassium aryltrifluoroborates, is described in the presence of a rhodium/tri-tert-butylphosphane catalyst system and acetone as cosolvent.
