Abstract

Alkylation of isobutane with 2-butene was performed in a batch reactor using the ionic liquid 1-n-octyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide aluminium chloride ([OMIM] Br-AlCl3) pure, and in a mixture with compounds containing SO3H-groups.
