Abstract

Highlights ► Modulation of α-chloralose on extra- and intra-synaptic GABA A receptors. ► α-Chloralose dose dependently potentiates exogenous GABA-induced Cl − response. ► 10 μM α-Chloralose facilitates sIPSC frequency, and decreased failure rate of eIPSC. ► 30 μM α-Chloralose induces presynaptic inhibition of eIPSC.
