Abstract

JANUABY 1961 MALEIMIDE AND N-METHYLOLMALEIMIDE 15 diimide in 40 ml. of dichloromethane was added dropwise over a 3O-min. period. The resetion mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 hr., followed by removal of the precipitated N, N'dicyclohexylm by filtration. The filtrate was concentmted by dietillation and the residue was dissolved in benzene, and pd through a column (1'X 10') of Florisil in benzene. The ...
