Abstract
Introduction.-The description of the properties of the known phenyltin compounds as given in the literature shows that they resemble the corresponding alkyl derivatives in many respects. The investigations of Kraus with Sessions2 and Greer3 on compounds of trimethyltin and of dimethyltin, indicate that these groups exhibit marked amphoteric properties.
