Abstract
The selective functionalization of aliphatic CÀH bonds remains one of the biggest challenges for modern synthetic chemistry.[1] Despite being traditionally considered as inert, alkyl CÀH bonds have been shown to exhibit distinct relative reactivity responding to innate electronic and steric factors.[2] Reagents and catalysts that engage in selective alkyl CÀH bond oxidation reactions, without the aid of covalent interactions, and that do not require ...
