Abstract

A mixture of 6.7 g. of this material, 1.5 g. of 10% palla- dium on Darco and 125 ml. of water was shaken with hy- drogen under 2-3 atmospheres of pressure. One mole of hydrogen was consumed in several minutes. After removal of the catalyst, the solution was concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure.
