Abstract
(XIII) seemed probable that phenylmagnesium bromide would likewise add 1, 6 to fuchsone and to naphofuchsone. Despite numerous attempts, however, none of the readily crystallizing oxytetraarylmethanes could be isolated, only intractable gums resulting.
