Abstract

Thermodynamic parameters of nine-membered intramolecular hydrogen bonding between carbonyl groups and phenolic hydroxyl groups of 2-arylmethylphenols having methoxycarbonyl, dimethylcarbamoyl, and formyl groups were determined by variable temperature 1H NMR studies and van't Hoff analysis.
