Abstract

Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) is a widespread human pathogen, possessing onco- modulatory properties. Constitutive signaling of the HCMV-encoded chemokine receptor US28 and its ability to bind a broad spectrum of chemokines might facilitate HCMV- associated tumor progression.
