Abstract
The Heck coupling of ArN 2 BF 4 with secondary allylic alcohols, carried out in methanol using Pd(dba) 2 as catalyst without extra ligands and base, leads to the corresponding β-arylated carbonyl compounds. Such conditions afford arylated acetals from primary allylic alcohols. ...
