Abstract

ExDerimental C, 56.35; H, 6.83. 4-Carbomethoxy-4-methylcyclohexene (I11 j.-A mixture of 100 g.(1.0 mole) of methyl methacrylate, 108 g.(2 moles) of butadiene and 1 g. of hydroquinone2 was heated in a steel hydrogenation bomb at 180" for fifteen hours.
