Abstract

A simple synthesis of the hitherto difficultly prepared carbamates of tertiary alcohols has been developed, The method also has been found applicable to the synthesis of the carbamates of other alcohols (including steroids, as well as primary and secondary alcohols), polyols, phenols, mono-and polythiols, and oximes.
