Abstract

Abstract Phenylacetic, diphenylacetic, salicylic, and cinnamic acids reacted with N- sulfinyltrifluoromethanesulfonamide (CF 3 SO 2 NSO) to give the corresponding N- acyltrifluoromethanesulfonamides CF 3 SO 2 NHCOR (R= PhCH 2, Ph 2 CH, o-HOC 6 H 4, PhCH= CH).
