【用途一】
用于鞣制面革。在照相定影液中用作照相胶卷的坚膜剂。染料工业用作生产活性红棕K-B3R、中性紫BL、中性橙RL和中性桃红BL等产品时用作铬络合剂。印染工业用作媒染剂。还用作玻璃、陶瓷、搪瓷等的釉药。也作防水剂。用于石油钻井等。

硫酸铬制备


【方法一】
硫酸铬钾的工业生产方法可采用有机物还原法和二氧化硫还原法。
有机物还原法 将99％重铬酸钾和98%硫酸按理论量溶解于铬明矾母液后，在搅拌下缓慢加入木屑进行还原。反应温度控制不超过80℃，反应结束后，静置缓慢结晶，经离心分离母液后，把结晶用少量冷水洗涤，再经低温干燥，制得硫酸铬钾成品。其2K2Cr2O7+8H2SO4+40H2O+3C→本品+3CO2↑
母液和洗液返回反应器，用以溶解重铬酸钾。
