铬酸钡用途
1. 测定硫酸盐或硒酸盐。黄色颜料,陶瓷、玻璃着色。
2. 不能用作着色颜料,因含有铬酸根,所以用于防锈漆中有类似于锌铬黄的作用。铬酸钡钾也不能作着色颜料,只能作为防锈颜料,可替代部分锌黄。从发展趋势看,它仅是涂料行业可供选用的铬酸盐防锈颜料的品种之一。

铬酸钡制备
铬酸钡可用氯化钡与沉淀反应而成,反应方程式如下:
BaCl2+Na2CrO4→BaCrO4↓+2NaCl
操作方法:生产铬酸钡的设备基本 同锌铬黄。生产铬酸钡的配方为氯化钡[BaCl2·2H2O]:重铬酸钠[Na2Cr2O7·2H2O]:氢氧化钠[NaOH]=244:149:40,在原料及所用水中应避免含有硫酸盐,以免生成不溶性的硫酸钡混入成品中降低成品中铬酸钡的含量。氢氧化钠先与重铬酸钠反应生成铬酸钠,氢氧化钠的加入量应恰好中和重铬酸钠的酸度,应防止多加碱。铬酸钠可稀释至相对密度为1.11的溶液,并检验是否有硫酸根存在,如有硫酸极,可预先加入少剂量的氯化钡,使生成硫酸钡沉淀,经澄清或过滤除去。氯化钡溶液加入到铬酸钠溶液中,不断搅拌,生成铬酸钡沉淀,一直到沉淀的滤液呈清水色,加入氯化钡溶液不产生沉淀为止。所得颜料浆可用压滤机过滤,并用水洗涤至洗水中仅含极微量的氯根为止。
生产铬酸钡钾是用干法,以碳酸钡粉末同重铬酸钾粉末混匀后在转炉中煅烧,反应方程式如下:
BaCO3+K2Cr2O7→BaCrO4·K2CrO4+CO2↑
操作方法:重铬酸钾与碳酸钡的比是1.2:1.72,预先需要球磨粉碎,再进行混合,进行砖窑煅烧,开始煅烧温度350℃,煅烧阶段达650~700℃,煅烧后半成品通过降温后,经过粉碎、包装而成。
