其溶液用于镀铬

用于电镀、制高纯金属铬、染料、合成橡胶及油脂精制等
【用途三】
用作分析试剂和强氧化剂,也用于铬酸盐的制造
【用途四】
主要用于电镀工业,做自行车、缝纫机、手表、仪表、手电筒、日用五金等电镀铬的原料,也用于制高纯金属铬。是制造氧化铬绿和锌铬黄的原料;也是生产低温变换催化剂、高温变换催化剂及高压甲醇合成催化剂的原料。羊毛织物染色时用作媒染剂,印染工业中用作氧化剂。此外,还用于木材防腐。
【用途五】
本品是电镀铬的主要原料。电镀铬生产中,铬酐含量变动幅度较大,在50~500 g/L之间,主要控制适当的温度和电流密度,都能在平滑的镀件上获得光亮的镀层,它的溶液还能用于锌镀层钝化膜,使其防护性能提高。
【用途六】
氧化剂,光谱分析试剂,测定碳及磷,硬化油类及乙烯的纯化,氮肥生产中气体分析,金属全相分析,植保化验。铬盐的制造等。

铬酸酐制备

1.硫酸法 将重铬酸钠与硫酸加热熔融进行反应,反应结束后静置,分去硫酸氢钠,再冷却、出料制片、包装即制得铬酸酐。其反应式如下:

2.铬矿与纯碱和石灰石共热,再用浓硫酸处理而制得本品。

3.硫酸法、硝酸法、氟硅酸法及电解法等。工业上主要采用硫酸法。将无水重铬酸钠与硫酸在反应釜内混合后,加热至200℃进行熔融反应,得到熔融产物铬酐和硫酸氢钠,静置分层后,冷却即可。

4.取100g脱水后的无水重铬酸钠溶解于250mL水里并过滤,在搅拌下向透明的滤液里慢慢地加入400mL浓硫酸。因为过快地大量加入是非常危险的,所以加酸时必须注意温度的上升速度。加完之后加热时,则开始析出紫红色CrO3。放置24h后,将析出的结晶过滤,用浓硝酸反复洗涤若干次直至没有吸附的硫酸为止,然后干燥。

5.也可以用重铬酸钾代替重铬酸钠。取10g重铬酸钾溶解于100mL水中,慢慢地加入50mL95%硫酸,这时迅速发热,逐渐析出紫红色CrO3。放置24h,大部分针状结晶都析出来,用玻璃砂芯漏斗过滤,用硝酸洗涤数次以除去硫酸,充分干燥后放入玻璃瓶中保存。
